1. Kỹ thuật xác định Keyword

– Việc xác định keyword giúp định vị đúng vị trí cần đọc trong đoạn văn

→ tiết kiệm thời gian

– Tránh bẫy paraphrase → tăng độ chính xác

2. Các loại keyword gồm:

– Danh từ chính → xác định chủ đề câu hỏi (pollution, world cup…)

– Tên riêng → định vị nhanh vị trí nội dung trong đoạn (Max, Roger…)

– Số liệu (thời gian, địa điểm, số lượng…) → thông tin cụ thể (12:30, the intersection, 3200…)

– Tính từ/ động từ/ trạng từ → xác định hành động/ ý nghĩa trong câu (black, run, wash, immediately, …)

– Từ nhấn mạnh (best, the most, only…)

– Đôi khi, các từ sau cũng được xác định làm keyword trong câu vì nó giúp xác định thông tin cần điền chính xác hơn, tránh bị nhiễu loạn thông tin: dạng phủ định (not, isn’t, doesn’t…); liên từ (but, however, also…); so sánh (more than, better, whereas,…)

3. Mẹo về keyword:

– Trong 1 câu cùng lắm chỉ có 3-5 từ được xác định là keyword, còn lại là từ chức năng.

– Sau khi xác định được keyword rồi, có thể ghi ra hoặc nghĩ đến các từ đồng nghĩa có thể gặp

– Tìm câu chứa keyword trong bài (có thể đã được paraphrase đi, nhưng nhìn chung nội dung của câu vẫn như vậy)

1. Paraphrase là gì?

Paraphrase là cách diễn đạt lại một từ, cụm từ hoặc câu bằng cách khác nhưng vẫn giữ nguyên ý nghĩa ban đầu.

Ví dụ:

Original: I am happy about the news.

Paraphrase: I am pleased about the news.

→ Hai câu dùng từ khác nhau nhưng ý nghĩa gần như không thay đổi.

2. Tại sao cần paraphrase?

Trong Aptis Writing, paraphrase giúp:

• Tránh lặp lại từ/câu trong đề bài.
• Thể hiện vốn từ và cấu trúc ngữ pháp đa dạng hơn.
• Giúp bài viết tự nhiên và linh hoạt hơn.
• Hỗ trợ nâng điểm về Vocabulary và Grammar.
• Đặc biệt hữu ích khi viết Part 3 và Part 4, khi cần trả lời hoặc nhắc lại thông tin từ đề bài.

Ví dụ: The club will organize a new event.

Viết lại y nguyên:

I am happy because the club will organize a new event. X

Paraphrase:

I am happy because a new event will be organized by the club. ✅

3. Một số cách paraphrase đơn giản

Thay một từ bằng từ có nghĩa tương tự.

happy → pleased / glad

important → essential

help → support / assist

often → frequently

buy → purchase

Ví dụ:

I am happy about the news.

→ I am pleased about the news.

Chủ động: S + V + O

→ Bị động: O + be + V3

Ví dụ:

The club will organize a new event.

→ A new event will be organized by the club.

They cancelled the meeting.

→ The meeting was cancelled.

Có thể đổi giữa động từ – danh từ – tính từ.

decide → make a decision

The club decided to change the schedule.

→ The club made a decision to change the schedule.

successful → success

The event was successful.

→ The event was a success.

4. Bài tập ứng dụng

BÀI 1. Paraphrase bằng từ đồng nghĩa

Yêu cầu: Thay từ/cụm từ in đậm bằng một từ/cụm từ có nghĩa tương tự. Không làm thay đổi nghĩa của câu.
