Trong bài thi Aptis ESOL Writing, phần Part 2 (Viết câu ngắn) và Part 3 (Phản hồi trong phòng chat) đóng vai trò quan trọng giúp thí sinh tích lũy điểm số nhờ các câu trả lời ngắn gọn, chuẩn ngữ pháp và đúng trọng tâm. 1. Kiến thức chung

– 2 phiên bản nâng cấp của nhau

– Loại câu hỏi: Wh/H questions, Yes/No questions, Tell me → áp dụng chung 1 bố cục trả lời

– Thời gian: ~4 phút/ câu trả lời

– Số từ quy định:

• Part 2: 20 – 30 từ, max 45 từ

• Part 3: 30 – 40 từ, max 60 từ

2. Bố cục trả lời

Trả lời trọng tâm + phát triển ý (nêu lí do/ví dụ/thông tin thêm)

• Part 2: trả lời trọng tâm 1 câu – phát triển ý 1-2 câu

• Part 3: trả lời trọng tâm 1 câu – phát triển ý 2-3 câu

3. Phân tích các dạng câu hỏi

A. Yes/No question

Do you…?
Have you…?
Will you…?
Can you …?

• Trả lời trọng tâm : 1 câu

• Nêu lý do/ Ví dụ/ Thông tin : 1-2 câu

Ví dụ: Have you ever had a bad experience with a debating society?

Not a particularly bad experience, but I have been a member of some that were rather disorganized. No one knew when the meetings were until the last minute.

Phân tích câu hỏi: thì + nội dung

Lưu ý: thì và nội dung của câu trả lời phải khớp với thì và nội dung của câu hỏi:

– Nếu nắm chắc về mốc thời gian xảy ra của các hành động → linh hoạt giữa các thì với nhau

– Đảm bảo về thì + nội dung trong câu trả lời → không bao giờ dưới điểm B1

4. Luyện tập câu hỏi thực tế

Câu 1: What do you usually use a computer for?

I’m a salesperson, so I usually use my computer for work and to contact clients by email. I also enjoy watching Korean dramas on YouTube in my free time.

Câu 2: When do you watch TV? What do you usually watch?

– in the evening
– dramas, football matches, the news
– relax, reduce stress

I am too busy in the evening because I work remotely for an American IT company. That’s why I usually watch Korean comedies at midnight. They make me laugh and help me unwind.

Câu 3: What do you usually eat for breakfast and when do you eat it?

what: instant noodles, a sandwich, milk…
when: in the morning

As a vegan, I usually eat tropical fruits like mango and watermelon, along with a bowl of cereal in the morning. This healthy, plant-based breakfast helps me kick-start a productive day.

Câu 4: Tell us about the last time you went to a museum.

Last month, I had a fantastic trip to the city museum, where I explored contemporary art and sculptures. The visit inspired a unique idea for my school presentation.

Câu 5: You are talking to other members of the club in the chat room. Talk to them using sentences. Use 30 – 40 words per answer. Recommended time: 10 minutes.

Person A: I usually sit on a comfortable chair and eat something while watching TV. How do you relax when watching TV?

Hi, nice to meet you all! That is fantastic because I enjoy watching TV in the same way as you. Lying on a cozy sofa and watching my favorite TV series with my family is the perfect way to enjoy some family bonding time.

Person B: Which do you prefer: watch alone or with others?

• watch alone: quiet, focus better, do not interrupt anyone…
• watch with others: more fun, discuss the plots…

What fascinates me is watching TV with others, especially my family. It’s always more meaningful when we share laughs, emotions, or even tears through a good film. It turns an ordinary evening into something we’ll always remember.

Person C: Children shouldn’t watch too much TV. Do you think so?

I totally agree! Watching too much TV harms children’s eyesight and reduces physical activity. Parents should use the children’s settings on TV to limit their screen time.
