What are the advantages and disadvantages of online learning?

Nowadays, a conflict has appeared, while some people think that online learning brings many benefits, others have opposite opinions. Therefore, this essay will discuss both sides of the topic and give some personal views.
On the one hand, online learning can bring many benefits. The first benefit of this type of learning is that it is convenient because people can study at home. For example, learners can surf and login to study everywhere with an internet connection. For example, according to Dan Tri Newspaper, a lot of people have said that they get benefits from online learning and the comforts of staying at home to study. Moreover, there is another benefit of online learning is that it is time-saving and money-saving since people will not need to travel and they can learn anytime and anywhere they want. For instance, an office worker can take part in an online English course from 8 till 10 pm after a long day at work and finishing household chores and resting. From this, many people can balance between their work and life while still being able to improve their knowledge and improve their skills.
However, on the other hand, there are also some drawbacks of online learning. The first drawback of online learning is that it is boring as students may have difficulties in interacting with teachers. As an example, from an ABC survey, a number of people showed that they get drawbacks from online learning and cannot directly/ have face-to-face interactions with teachers. Additionally, online learning can bring another disadvantage is that it is easy to lose focus as students may do other things such as surfing the internet, talking to family members. Moreover, learners may also be affected by distractions like social media or household noises. Consequently, the effectiveness of the lesson can be reduced, resulting in lower scores/ poor academic performance.
In summary, every has its own merits and demerits; however, in my opinion, the advantages of online learning have outweighed the disadvantages.

– Hãy luôn thuộc cho mình phần ví dụ số liệu để không bị thiếu từ .
– Việc phụ thuộc và học thuộc form ở trên sẽ là Level 1 – phụ thuộc vào form và nêu ra tính từ.
– Điểm sẽ có thể chưa cao và có rủi ro là lạc đề nhẹ hoặc chưa trả lời tốt được đề bài.
– Nên sử dụng với mục đích là để tiếp cận chứ không chỉ nghĩ tới việc viết vào là xong
– Nên thử thách đến Level 2
Level 2: Phụ thuộc form nhưng có đọc đề bài + nhặt ra 1 số từ của đề bài
– Nêu ra được tính từ sát với đề bài -> Sẽ không lo bị lạc đề (RẤT QUAN TRỌNG)
VD: Đọc đề bài không dịch được nhưng nhặt được từ “shopping” -> dùng tính từ “fun”, “relaxing” để nêu ưu điểm và “expensive”, “time-wasting” để nêu ra nhược điểm.
Level 3: Phụ thuộc form nhưng có đọc đề bài + nhặt ra 1 số từ của đề bài
– Sử dụng tính từ + 1 chút từ vựng để giải thích được idea của mình (ĐÂY LÀ 1 BƯỚC TIẾN LỚN)

Level 4: Phụ thuộc/sử dụng form nhưng tự do viết ideas và ví dụ minh hoạ theo từ vựng.

Level 5: Sử dụng form, tự do viết ideas và nêu ví dụ minh họa cùng phần mở rộng/ liên kết.

– Không nên dùng “you,I, we,us,…” đặc biệt ở phần thân bài
Hãy hay bằng từ “people” hoặc từ phù hợp với chủ đề
(Ví dụ nói về học tập -> students/learners)
– Nên dùng “tend to V – có xu hướng làm gì đó” hoặc “can/will/have to/need to/ should,.. trước các động từ
– Nên dùng “many/a lot of/ a number of/ most of/some/certain trước các danh từ

4. Form viết luận là tách ra cho dễ nhìn
– Khi viết cần viết theo cấu trúc
